Richard Cole

Richard and his wife, Kristen, have five kids, Emerson, Arden, West, Collette, and Holland. He grew up in Fayetteville, attended the University of Arkansas, and has spent all but a few years of his life here. He was a part of the core group that helped to get Harvest off the ground.

God deeply used a couple of ministries to shape Richard’s faith and life. Following college, he worked at Kanakuk Kamps, where, in seeing people truly live in a way that looked like Jesus, God fully grabbed his heart. Richard spent a year at the Kanakuk Institute, an intensive bible training program, and then five years on staff with K-Life, a discipleship program for teens.

Currently, Richard serves as the COO of OneStone, an ecommerce service agency. Previously, he partnered with great friends to help launch Givington’s and Puritan. He is also on the board of Potter’s House ministries.

It is Richard’s great hope that his life will look like Jesus’ in how he loves his wife, how he parents, how he works, what he values, and who he surrounds himself with. It seems that to him that Jesus’ promise in John 10:10, “I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly,” comes to life through living according Paul’s in Philippians 2, “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility consider others more important than yourself.”
