Harvest is committed to the mission of discipleship. This means we desire for everyone to worship Christ, walk with Christ, and work for Christ. There are many different ways to get plugged in and we would love to see you become a part of this body.
The best way to get started is to attend Step 1. This is an event for us to get to know you, to give you the opportunity to hear about Harvest's history and mission, meet some key leaders, and ask questions. This is a step we offer as an intro to membership class so that you can know more about who we are as a church.
Step 2 of the membership process will help you gain a solid understanding of what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ, and a full member-participant of Harvest Fayetteville. Together we will discuss our church's doctrine and structure, what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ, what the Bible says about baptism and communion, and the commitments of members of Harvest Bible Chapel.
After going through Step 1 and 2, you will be given the opportunity to decide if you want to identify with our church body as a member. Membership is an individual commitment.
If you would like to become a member, fill out the Commitment Card given to you at the end of Step 2.
Members agree to adhere to the following four commitments:
- I have, by faith, become a follower of Jesus Christ.
- I will, with God's help, seek to maintain my consistent disciplines of prayer, Bible study, quietness with God, and attendance at worship services.
- I will neither criticize nor listen to criticism concerning any member of this body and will, when personally offended, speak directly and lovingly with those involved.
- I will financially support the ministries of Harvest Bible Chapel by faithfully giving back to the Lord a biblical portion of my increase.
